Ways to Sew With UsWhether you’re brand new to sewing or looking to grow your skills, we offer a variety of classes and studio opportunities for youth and adults.
❋ Beginner Sewing ClassesPerfect for those who have never used a sewing machine or want to refresh the basics. Students will learn how to operate a sewing machine, practice basic stitches, and complete two simple beginner projects while building confidence in a supportive environment.
❋ Project Sewing ClassesThese fun classes focus on completing one specific project from start to finish. Past projects have included pajama sets, memory bears, and creative home items. Each class is designed to help students practice sewing skills while making something useful.
❋ Pant Hemming 101Learn a practical skill you can use at home or even turn into extra income. In this class, students will learn how to properly measure, pin, and sew professional-looking pant hems using a sewing machine.
❋ Youth & Teen Sewing ClubsDesigned for young creators who want to learn sewing in a fun and supportive environment. Students will learn sewing basics while completing beginner-friendly projects that build creativity, patience, and confidence.
❋ Sewing Studio MembershipOur studio membership gives makers access to The Sewing Center during open studio hours to work on personal projects in a creative and supportive environment. Members can reserve studio time and use sewing machines, cutting tables, tools, and workspace while connecting with other members of the community.
